Blacking out, layout and add new parking stalls

This is the same lot as the previous post. We moved the two handicap stalls from this area and needed to stripe for regular parking stalls. The crosswalks for ADA accessiblity were "blacked out" and then the area was remeasured to accomidate one additional parking area.

Parking Lot Striping

Here are some before and after shots.

The customer wanted to move some handicap stencils to a location where a new ADA compliant ramp was installed earlier in the week.
By the time we arrived to cross out two stalls in front of the ramp, two cars had already hit the ramp. After the striping and stenciling was completed, I added some reflective tape to the ramp so, hopefully, people will see the new addition to this lot.

Painting a brick fireplace

This is the fireplace from the living room side. The challenge was in protecting the freshly cleaned carpet, masking off the inside of the fireplace and the wood mantle that was built into the brick.

The paint I used matched the wall color the customer selected, and was a satin sheen. The brick was primed and then painted with an airless sprayer to achieve a nice, uniform coating while showing off the natural texture of the brick and grout without showing brush and roller marks. I forgot the camera before I started, so I don't have any "before" pics of this one.
